The Energy Project Sleep Challenge 2011!
Get energized and be more productive when you join our week-long sleep challenge starting today, Tuesday, March 22! Enter to win a free 30-minute coaching session with bestselling author, performance expert, and The Energy Project’s CEO, Tony Schwartz.
Studies show that 98% of us need a minimum of seven hours of sleep in order to perform at our best. Less than 40% of us are getting enough, and with the increasing demand in our lives, it’s getting harder and harder.
THE CHALLENGE:
The most important thing to do if you’re struggling to get enough sleep is to go to bed earlier — and at a set time. Sounds obvious, right? The problem is there's no alternative. You're probably already waking up at the latest possible time you think is acceptable. If you don't ritualize a specific bedtime, you'll end up finding ways to stay up later, just the way you do now.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Please enter the contest by adding your comment to this note on our facebook page. Each day, come back and let us know how you’re doing. We’re interested in how your changes in sleep are affecting your emotions, your behaviors, your focus, your productivity, and your general feeling of well-being.
One contestant will be chosen at random at the end to win the coaching session, along with a copy of his new book, Be Excellent at Anything. You will get one entry for each day you comment.
